This notice explains the information used by the Yufu Jade storefront at www.yufujade.com when you browse products, contact us or request email updates.
1. Who this notice covers and how to contact us
In this notice, Yufu Jade, we and us refer to the team operating this storefront and responding to its enquiries. The notice covers this website's enquiry and subscription features; a laboratory, payment service, delivery company or external website may provide a separate notice for its own services.
Use the Contact Us form to ask a privacy question or request access, correction, deletion or removal from our updates list. Write Privacy request in the message and use the email address associated with your enquiry or subscription. Do not include an identity-document scan or payment credentials in the initial request.
2. Information you provide
Product enquiries: the form requests your email address and message. You may also provide the name or reference of a piece. The submission is stored in the site's enquiry records with its date and any associated product reference, so the team can review and respond to it. It is not displayed as a public review or comment.
Enquiry source information: when you submit an enquiry, the site records the first page path in your current visit, the page containing the form, the referring website hostname and any UTM campaign labels included in the link. This helps us understand which content and campaigns lead to enquiries and manage follow-up. This feature does not store a full browsing history or the full referring URL; the attribution values remain in browser session storage during the current tab session and are saved only with an enquiry you choose to submit.
Email updates: the separate subscription form records your email address, the subscription source and the time recorded for your subscription. Sending a product enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to updates.
Further correspondence: if you continue a conversation about an order, the information you choose to share may include a delivery address, recipient details or information needed to resolve a service issue. Confirm the information required and the agreed transaction arrangements before sending it. The website's enquiry form is not a payment form; do not use it to send card details, passwords or other sensitive credentials.
3. Why information is used
Enquiry details are used to understand your question, identify a piece, provide a reply and keep a record of the conversation. Subscription details record your request for new arrivals and jade-related updates. Technical information can also be used to operate the website, investigate errors and protect forms against misuse.
Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, the relevant basis depends on the activity: responding to a request or taking steps toward a purchase; your choice to receive optional updates; operating and securing the service where permitted; or meeting an applicable legal obligation. A newsletter request and a product enquiry are separate choices.
4. Technical information, cookies and external fonts
Opening a webpage involves sending technical request information to the website's hosting infrastructure. The hosting or security service may record an IP address, requested URL, request time, browser information and error information. The exact logging and retention depend on the service configuration.
The storefront loads the Jost typeface from Google Fonts. Your browser may contact Google to obtain the font stylesheet and font files, which exposes network request information such as your IP address and browser details to that service. This is separate from the information you enter into our forms.
WordPress may use cookies for authentication and other essential features when those features are used. You can inspect and manage stored cookies through your browser settings; blocking necessary cookies may affect some functions. A page requesting an external resource does not necessarily mean that it sets a tracking cookie.
This notice is not a promise that every server or third-party component is cookie-free. Optional analytics, advertising or email services, if introduced, require a corresponding explanation of their purpose and any choice or consent required by applicable law.
5. Access to information and service providers
Enquiry and subscription records are available through the website administration area to accounts with the relevant permissions. Website hosting, maintenance and communication services may process information when providing those services. Information needed for a specific transaction may also need to be provided to a payment or delivery service once arrangements are agreed.
A legal request, security incident or dispute may require information to be preserved or disclosed where applicable law permits or requires it. An enquiry should not contain more personal information than is needed to answer your question.
Website and communication services can operate in countries different from your own. The destination and protections depend on the provider and the service used. Ask us about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry before sharing information if this affects your decision.
6. Records, retention and security
Submitting an enquiry or subscription creates a stored record; closing the browser does not delete it. The current form features do not automatically erase these records after a fixed number of days. Records may therefore remain until they are reviewed and removed by the site administrator.
When considering a deletion request, relevant factors include whether correspondence is still active, whether it relates to an order or unresolved issue, and whether a legal record must be retained. Copies in backups or service logs may follow a separate retention cycle. Contact us for the position relating to your information.
The forms use validation and measures intended to reduce automated misuse, and the administration area requires authorised access. No website or communication channel can be guaranteed completely secure. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information.
7. Your choices and privacy requests
You may choose not to submit a form or subscribe. If you want to stop email updates, ask through Contact Us using the subscribed email address and state that you want to unsubscribe. If a message includes an unsubscribe facility, you can also use it. A request to stop updates is separate from correspondence needed to answer an enquiry or address an agreed order.
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to access or correct information, request deletion, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or receive information in a portable form. These rights can be subject to conditions and record-keeping requirements. We may need proportionate information to verify that a request concerns your own records.
You may also be entitled to contact your local data-protection authority. This notice does not restrict rights that applicable law gives you.
8. Children and changes to this notice
This storefront is intended for people able to make their own purchase enquiries, not as a service directed at children. A parent or guardian who believes a child has submitted personal information can contact us to request a review and removal where appropriate.
This notice may be updated when the website's features or information practices change. The date at the top identifies this version. A revised notice does not remove rights that apply to information already provided.
